What We Do.
Since 2010, Shooting for a Cure has raised nearly $245,000 to support Appendiceal Cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. This annual, family-friendly sporting clays shooting event brings together those wishing to support loved ones who’ve been affected by all types of cancer (in addition to appendiceal) as well as those who knew and loved Ric Summers, for which the event honors in his memory.
How Can YOU Support Appendiceal Cancer Research?
8th Annual Shooting for a Cure | April 1, 2017
American Shooting Centers
Appendiceal cancer is extremely rare with few treatments available. To our knowledge, Shooting for a Cure is the only fundraising event in the country dedicated to raising money to support research for this disease. Please join our efforts on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the 8th annual Shooting for a Cure at American Shooting Centers in Houston.
