Thanks for the wonderful experience! I was completely blown away with the level of participation, and even more with the hospitality of all who were involved. The message that was transmitted to everyone was exceptional, and I was very honored to be invited. Hearing the story of your friend Ric Summers, and learning about everyone's role in the foundation for finding a cure seems to be one that everyone took very personally. This gave the event that much more of heartfelt feeling.
 
Thanks to everyone who made the event a success. I can't express how good I felt when I left the event.  It was a warm feeling I had that I spent my day involved in something was good, and was seeking to make a positive difference in our world. The thought that I was able to spend my day taking up arms, telling hunting stories, and meeting some exceptional people.
 
The event was one that definitely I would like to attend again in the future.  Thanks for the Experience!!

While our team from MD Anderson had zero years of shooting experience between the 5 of us, we all had a lot of fun coming out and blasting some clays from the sky (some more than others!).  And of course, it is for a cause we care about.  For me personally, it was great to go out into the community, meeting people I’ve known and others I don’t, and seeing how coming together can make an impact.  Rare cancer research is really tough to fund, and that makes the Shooting for a Cure event that much more special.
We really appreciate everything you guys are doing, and look forward to next year!
